QI GONG AND KIRTAN – with Frazier Rishi
March 22 @ 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Balancing Yin & Yang • Shakti & Shiva • Rooting into Growth
Spring Equinox is a potent time for finding rootedness through collective practice. It is a time for growth and possibility, which brings creative energy and expansion.
This day is an opportunity to find balance, between masculine and feminine energies, focus and receptivity, and between outward expression and inward reflection.
Balance can arise through deep reflective practice — seeing clearly where we may be supporting imbalance in our lives, and where we can clarify, reorient, heal and refocus.
You may choose to sign up for Qi Gong or Kiran or Sing Up for both, and make a retreat day out of it. Discount for signing up for both energy exchange/pricing info below.

In Qi Gong, we work with two powerful (and complementary) practices: 5 elements Qi Gong and Taijiwuxigong
FIVE ELEMENTS QIGONG
The first portion is Five Elements Qigong. This system works with the organs and meridians to cultivate health, wellness, and wholeness.
Spring is related to the Liver and Gallbladder and the Wood element.
When Wood is balanced:
• Flexibility with strength
• Capacity to move forward through challenges
• Clear direction and growth
• Resilience
When Wood is out of balance, it can manifest as:
• Anger, irritability, resentment
• Inability to focus or persist, depression
In this practice we cultivate flexibility, focus and aliveness, so that we can harness this rising energy rather than be overtaken by it.

TAIJIWUXIGONG
Works directly with the extraordinary meridians and the body’s core energetic architecture.
This internal practice builds upon the open and balanced meridian flow that we cultivate in the 5 elements Qi Gong.
When the dantian becomes active, it begins to circulate yuan qi — original vital force — through the central, front, back and side channels, bringing presence, clarity and health to body, mind and spirit.

KIRTAN
Devotional Sound • Mantra • Collective Resonance
Kirtan is the ancient practice of call-and-response mantra chanting — a way of opening the heart through shared sou nd and presence. It is both meditative and uplifting, grounding and expansive.
In this space we will work with the energies of:
• Radha Krishna
• Sita Ram
• Shakti Shiva
These mantras invite balance between masculine and feminine, devotion and clarity, strength and softness. Through chanting together, we soften the mind, aliven the heart, and allow wisdom to arise naturally.
As we sing, there will also be space for stillness — moments of quiet integration between chants — allowing the energy to settle and deepen.
